Better Late Than Never...Right?
Dec. 21st, 2017 01:18 pmIn her rush to get ready for Winter's Crest dinner after the festival, Pike had completely forgotten to bring along the presents for her family. So instead, she bundled them all up the next morning she woke up early and left them outside of their rooms. It had taken her and Piotr hours to get everything just right, but luckily they had started early. In the end, she was very happy with how everything had turned out.
When everyone's gifts were in place, she cast Sendings to Kash & Lillith then hopped onto the earring to tell everyone to open their doors.
Kash -
Kash's present was one of the largest, so she decided to deliver it first. It was also the gift that she was the most nervous about, not sure if it would cause him too much pain. Wrapped in some festive papers, she left a painting of Zahra that was wider than she was tall leaning against his door.
Percy, Vex & Trinket -
Much like with Kash's gift, Percy and Vex's main present was obnoxiously awkward for her to carry. Why did Piotr have to paint things that were so big? Four feet wide and three feet tall, the painting of the Sun Tree was wrapped and accompanied by a little note that just read "For you both. To help you remember, life needs things to live."
Unlike Kash's gift, the larger gift was accompanied by three smaller packages, each labeled with one of their names. Percy's was in blue paper and was only a delicately created portrait of Cassandra in a palm-sized frame. Vex's was an identically styled and sized portrait of her little sister, Velora. Trinket did not get art. For her favorite bear, Pike made some salmon treats and put them in a nice little tin.
Vax -
Vax's painting of Keyleth was smaller (three feet by two feet), but not by much. And for what it lacked in size, it had taken the longest to get perfect.
Lilith -
Considering she had months to get the other's gifts created, Lilith's sketch of her and Zahra wasn't as extravagant as the rest of her family, but Piotr was a doll and sketched her something that could be quickly framed and wrapped.
